Had this last evening at Serafina, an italian restaurant in Seattle.
Dark red in color. Some bits of sediment clinging to the decanter due to a graceless decanting by our server. This was a bit closed to start but opened up nicely. Floral nose with cherry, tar, and earth on the palate. Tannins still present, but smooth, medium length finish. 89 points.
