For dinner, two hour decant for both of these, the 98 Tignanello and the 97 Terrabianca Campaccio. The 97 Campaccio IMO showed much better upon release than now. The nose was muted, and the taste followed suit. Seemed very bland, with neither tannins nor fruit leading the way. Finish was also minimal. Not a 90 pointer to me, in fact I gave it 87. But at $24, still a nice QPR, a solid B-. This seems to me to be a classic sleeping mode, as even 2 hours of decanting didn’t wake this.
