94 WA; Winetex 93 It was a gorgeous wine with blackberry, creme de cassis and toasty oak on the nose. It was very balanced with dark fruits in the middle and a spicy long finish. I thought "lush" while savoring this wine. We decanted it about 1 hour. Very good wine that is just entering its drinking window but could stay in the cellar for some time. Thanks to BHV for bringing this one to dinner last month.

Great, thanks for the notes Winetex. "Lush" is definitely the right word... though I haven't had the '97.
