The best QPR Italian red that I have tried in several years. This is about $2 more than Vitiano and more complex IMO. This retails for about $11.

This Tuscan red is full of plum, blackberry, and cherry with wonderful acidity for short term drinking. I am not sure of the breakdown in grapes used to make this wine, but my guess is cab and sangiovese. I will certainly find out. This is going to be my new QPR Italian red. 89-90pts. If you have never tried the wines of D'Alessandro I HIGHLY suggest you do.
