Opened and served without decanting in Spiegelau Rotwein glasses. The color is a dark ruby, bordering on garnet. The earthy nose is of black cherry and bell pepper. The tannins are very firm and maybe a bit overpowering. The flavors consist of cherry and raspberry. The wine is decent but I wouldn’t score it more than 86 points. Drink now.
