Barbaresco “Nervo” Elivio Pertinace 1996 (Piemonte)

My notes on this are a little thin, but here goes… Dried cherries, blueberries, toastiness, and silky tannins weave and bob in your mouth to make for a delightful experience. As this wine was paired with a mushrooms and pasta dish, the earthiness of the shrooms convinced some interesting flavors out of the wine, too – some earthiness is all my brain can think of at this moment. Great stuff.
