“Marea” Bisson 2000 (Liguria)

This wine was funky and musty to start, but it soon passed. With apple on the nose, it also evoked melons and minerals. Super legs. With the food of the course, it helped evoke the fennel notes out of their shell. Delicious acidity to end it all in the finish. Some nice herbaceousness, too. Excellent food wine as well.
