| Picked this up on Saturday for $30CAD.
Mr. Suckling called this a "poor man's Barolo." If that's the case, I'll gladly be a poor man any day. I really, really enjoyed this wine with the leg of lamb I roasted Saturday.
Decanted for an hour before drinking. Medium-ruby in colour, a bit of orange on the rim. Amazingly complex nose with chocolate, black cherries, crushed fruit. Full-bodied and juicy with a 40+ second finish. An awesome wine! - 93 points

| Travaglini makes three Gattinara, Selezione, Riserva and Tre Vigne, which one did you enjoy?
The '97 Selezione, which is the base, is the only one I drank and it was not all that good.
