I'm becoming a fan girl of this estate. With hubby traveling I like these under $20 wines quite a bit. This one just works, try it. Sure it is young but it tasted good with a simple pasta dish. 2006 Fattoria di Felsina Berardenga Chianti Classico - Italy, Tuscany, Chianti, Chianti Classico (8/28/2008) What dbkitc said about the flavors, very nice sour cherry and floral aroma and flavors. Young and changing quickly in the glass but without tons of complexity. Under $20 you can't go wrong with this one if you like nice Sangio. A wine to buy by the case and drink over a few years. {A 15 minute decant really helped this one along..} (89 pts.) Posted from CellarTracker

2006 Fattoria di Fèlsina Berardenga Chianti Classico - Italy, Tuscany, Chianti, Chianti Classico (11/29/2008) WIML88 Tasted November 29, 2008 at a retail tasting. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of dark fruits, berries, cherries and currants. Flavors of berries and cherries. Medium acidity and tannins, light to medium body. Drink over the short to medium term. (88 pts.)
