Opened and served immediately. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of berries and cherries, just a bit medicinal upon initial opening. Later some tobacco notes of all things. Flavors of tart red berries, raspberries and cherries. Later a bit of red currant and red licorice. Medium to high acidity, medium tannins, medium body. Drink over the short term. Decent CCR but $40.00 a bottle? Puhleez. (89 pts.)
