Zanetti Villa di Corlo Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro Corleto - Italy, Emilia-Romagna, Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro (7/21/2008) WIML82 Tasted July 21, 2008 at a double blind tasting. I believe I have the correct wine but my notes are sketchy. Dark purple to crimson color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Herbal nose that reminds me of Ricoli cough mints and saffron of all things. Earthy flavors with strong notes of licorice, menthol and black raspberries. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannins. medium body. Short finish. Drink now. (82 pts.)
