Decanted about 90 minutes before serving. Dusty garnet turning towards brownish at center with a thin orange miniscus. Nose of tar, potpourri, berry, licorice, pine and white pepper. Later with more air notes of tobacco, espresso and dark chocolate. Flavors of berries, cherries, strawberries and raspberries. Bright acidity, slightly drying tannins, medium to full body. Drink now ith a decant or continue to hold. Seems on the edge of morphing to the next stage of development. (93 pts.)
