2005 Pieropan Soave Classico - Italy, Veneto, Soave Classico (5/25/2008)

Tasted May 25, 2008

Opened and served immediately. Light yellow to yellow color in the glass. Clear hue throughout. Nose of peach, apricot and a hint of petrol. Flavors of apricots, peaches and an underlying minerality. Medium acidity, light body. Drink now. (88 pts.)

Year in year out probably the best Soave there is, and with Anselmi, Gini and sometimes Inama probably the only Soave worth buying ever.
