  • 2005 Brigaldara Valpolicella Classico - Italy, Veneto, Valpolicella, Valpolicella Classico (3/4/2008)
Aromas of plum, spice and almost a pancetta-like fatty richness which wrap it all together. Fruit-driven with bright acidity, which finish with a nice dark fruit and licorice-laced finish. A nice bottle of wine for $13 and I imagine it would kill in Italian restaurants by-the-glass. (87 pts.)
