Just singing right now. Nose of black tar & white pepper, some bricking evident - definitly more integrated and "aged' then when I last visited this wine over 1 year ago. Perhaps a tad brighter/fruitier then the classic out and out Barolo/Nebbiolo dry - but just a tad - but really showing itself as expected of a Barolo of this age (dry/poweful/structured) - still with tannins certainly but integrrated well, somehwat acidic finish - not at all unpleasent, can't at all sense the (14.5% alchohol) - truly a joy of a wine - drunk stright up with no food accompanyment in stemless Reidel Burgundy glasses. Held up very well the second day as well. Notable amounts of fine sediment. Certainly one of the better wines I've had so far this year.
