Tasted October 17, 2007 as part of the Wino Depot Tasting With Friends Event for October. Opened and served immediately. Garnet color in the glass, slightly dusty looking. Nose of Kirsch, blackberries, potpourri and maybe some raspberries. Flavors of black raspberries, blackberries, maybe some black cherries with a hint of licorice on the moderate finish. Medium to tangy acidity, medium tannins, medium body. Drink over the short term if not sooner. (88 pts.)
