  As other TNs note it was not overly complex but was decently balanced and better with food. Flavors included cherry, pepper and a touch of earthiness. Some drying tannins on the finish. Nice Chianti and a decent buy in the low $20s. [Decanted about 30 minutes with good result; Might buy again in this category] (88 pts.)
