Tasted July 24, 2007. Opened and decanted an hour and half before serving in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of smoke, roasted meat, black currants, black berries and white pepper. Flavors of black berries, plums, cherries and a little cocoa. Light to medium acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium body. Drink now with a decant or hold. (89 pts.)
