2001 Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva Tenute Marchese - Italy, Tuscany, Chianti, Chianti Classico (7/21/2007)
WIML90,NOWA,WS91

Tasted July 21, 2007. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of saddle soap, black berries and a touch of currants. Flavors of plums, cherries, berries and currants. Medium acidity, tannins and body. Solid little Chianti and recommended at the $26.00 price I paid locally at retail. Drink over the short to medium term. I’ll likely buy more. (90 pts.)
