| | Another treasure from the past! The color is a very light ruby, with significant bricking, and the nose is just terrific - classic old Barolo, showing a sweet purfumed nose of sweet cherries, roses, cedar, tabacco, and a touch of anise and tar. Wonderfully textured on the palate, smooth and silky, with great acidity, fully resolved tannins, and still a wonderful core of sweet fruit. A delightful bottle of wine, 92 points. | | | |
