Tasted July 18, 2007. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of melted black licorice, raisins and black currants. Flavors of black cherries, golden raisins and licorice. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium body. Can be drank now but probably better to hold another year (89 pts.)
