| Burgundy core, light orange rim, moderate intense nose of smoke, leather, tar, dried cherry, earth, spice, anise and vanillin. Full body, high acidity and tannin, with long length. Palate mirrors and outside of color, which nebbiolo can sometimes “lack”, this showed as maybe a 1996. 91pts.

| | Thanks for the note. I enjoy this label, although I've only gone as far back on 1996. Never a "blockbuster," it really gives great Nebbiolo typicity. I've got some 1999s and 2001s in the cellar for the future. | | | |
