|

1997 Collosorbo Brunello di Montalcino - Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino (4/29/2007) Garnet in color, with some slight bricking. Overripe black and red fruits and pencil shavings on the nose. Dark bing cherries across the smooth palate. Despite being a bit lighter than I expected, it held on for good length. Restrained, elegant. Drank over 4 hours, and it started to fade a touch after about the 2nd. If you have a bottle, drink it soon I think. (90 pts.)
