Tasted April 1, 2007 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Weiss Wein glass. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of yellow apples, pears, citrus oil and nutmeg. Maybe some almond. Flavors of yellow pears, crisp yellow apples, vanilla and a touch of lemon. Maybe a touch of honey as well. Light to medium acidity, medium body. 13% alcohol by volume. 85% Chardonnay, 15% Grechetto. Aged 5 months in small casks and then 1 year in bottle. (90 pts.)

Tasted July 18, 2007. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Weiss Wein glass. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of pineapple, crème, some floral components and citrus fruits. Flavors of pineapple, lemon, yellow apples and crème. Light to medium acidity, medium body. Drink over the short term. (90 pts.)

I had this while on vacation in Italy last week and loved it.  It is one of the best chards from Italy.  I agree with WIML on the apple and creme flavors.  The acidity in this wine is in check and therefore makes it very food friendly.  I would rate this 92pts.  Drink over the next 3 years.
