Light clear red in color with a bit of fading at the edges (obviously not from age!). Nose is soft but full, with dried roses, cinnamon, and earthy mineral notes. Light and delicate on the palate where the spice notes really come out and strut and light chocolate notes make an appearance. Good acidity and mute tannins, very food friendly but not recommended for the cellar – drink now. 88 points, QPR: A
