One of the wines poured at the Brunello dinner I attended on May 20th.

Opaque ruby-purple colour; thick, slow legs. Aromas of vanilla, blackberry, cherry, earth, and mocha. What an amazing wine. Best I’ve ever had, and it will only get better. An unctuous wine with black cherry, chocolate, plum and raspberry on a seemingly ever expanding palate. An even longer finish than the Poggio Antico Riserva. 97 points.
