One of the wines poured at the Brunello dinner I attended on May 20th at Centro.

Deep dark ruby red. Thin legs. Aromas of mushrooms, smoke, earth, and cherries. A smoothy, silky wine with fruit just peeking out from behind the tannins. Long, long, long finish, 60+ seconds. Lots of potential for this wine. Mr. Montefiore said to forget about this one for at least 7-8 years before even thinking about it again. 94 points.
