| - 1997 Vietti Barolo Brunate - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo (12/27/2006)
deep ruby color with no signs of bricking yet - initially a little demur aromatically, the wine opened up in the glass with notes of sappy red berries, smoke, tar and minerals. It is all bound together with an inner strength that is never forceful on the palate, yet textured finely with plush tannins. Not flabby or falling apart, this wine will give pleasure for many years to come. (93 pts.) Posted from CellarTracker | | |

| Thanks for the TN, Jamietown.
I have been a long time supporter for Vietti wines.
