I probably should have waited for my head to clear out before trying this wine. It's hard to taste with a stuffy nose and head.

Probably a 90 but my nose was off. It was balanced with fine tannins and raspberry flavors. It had distinct mineral notes. It will probably improve with time but doesn't seem like a long term hold. Very medium-bodied. [~$35 on release; Decanted 15 minutes]

I bought this wine as a drinker so we went through six bottles of this (one was corked).

Very dark purple in color; Dark fruit and spice aromas and flavors in a balanced package. Fresh fruit and a shot of minerality on the finish. Not a trace of the 15% alcohol. Our food match, pasta with bolognese sauce probably took off any rough edges in this wine. A Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc blend; Drank well with a 30 minute decant. (90 pts.)
