Fontalloro Felsina 2000 (Toscana)- Sangiovese
WS 91 RP 90
Decanted for 2 hours, soft ripe cherry with hints of blackberry. Verry Smooth. Overtones of currants, well balanced and fruity. Little to no acidity, not overpowering 13.5 alch. Not oaky at all, feels very ripe. Juicy is a great word to describe its smooth composition. Not exceedingly complex, just an enjoyable wine with decent value ( $30). I love the finish, its sweet but still Sangiovese. I think this wine is a baby Brunello... 88 pts
