No formal notes, had with pasta with slightly spicy meatsauce.

Back up the f'n truck. Seriously, at $19.99, this stuff is insanely good. Every bit as good as the '03. Rich blue, purple, and black fruits with a lint of lavender and great rich mouthfeel but with admirable acidity. This is a pheonominal qpr at under $20 by the case. The high rating doesn't do the hedonistic factor complete justice. 91.
I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.

Opened 2 hours, no decanting...

Showing ever so slight green and astringency. Good, but not as good as the previous bottle. Similar notes. 90.
I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.

3rd bottle was another 90 pointer. 4th was up to 91.5. There is a little bottle variation here...
