2005 stamped on the cork. Pretty nose of vanilla, green apple, white flowers (acacia), and banana. Off-dry, creamy, and soft in the mouth, with acacia and green apple notes. Short-moderate finish, 20-25s. 86 points (05/30/2006).

N.V. Nino Franco Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Rustico - Italy, Veneto, Prosecco di Valdobbiadene (10/28/2007) WIML90?,PURPLE90 Tasted October 28, 2007 as part of the Wino Depot Tasting With Friends Event for October. Opened and served immediately. Dark straw color in the glass, clear hue throughout with a large mousse. Nose of lemon zest early on with notes of ginger and rich yellow apple. Flavors of tangy and juicy yellow apples, lemon notes and hints of ginger on the short to medium finish. Clean and crisp on the palate. Drink now. We overpaid for this at one of the most expensive places in town at $16.99 but if you could get this for closer to the “normal” price of $12.00 a bottle this would be a screaming good deal as far as Prosecco goes. (90 pts.)
