Dark ruby with black flecks. Extracted aromas of coffee, vanilla, briar, black cherry, and blackcurrant. Full-bodied, lush wine, with blackberry, and coffee notes. Tannins present, but needs to integrate a little more. Moderate-long finish, 35-40s, with blackberry and coffee notes. 88 points (09/30/2005).
