  • 2000 Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico Riserva - Italy, Tuscany, Chianti, Chianti Classico Riserva (9/6/2005)
    HAd this the other night. Really good, but nowhere near ready. Everything is pretty hidden behind a wall of tannins and it was hard at first to tell what was behind it. Roasted meat and acidic braised cherries was all I could tell. I'm withholding a rating for now because it is too damn hard for me to tell what it is going to be. I hate it when I jump the gun.
