| Medium-dark ruby colour. Evolved nose of almond extract, cocoa, anise, grilled meat, leather. Medium-full bodied, with black plums, leather, sottobosco. Tannins still quite present. Moderate finish, 30-35s, with black fruit. Needs another few years in the cellar. Richer than the 1995. 89 points (05/13/2005). | | |
