| Decanted 4.5 hours. Served blind. Dark ruby colour to rim. Stains the glass. Aromas of dark chocolate, black cherry, earth, spice, and rosemary. Medium-full bodied with spice, red fruits, black fruits, and violets. Moderate-long finish, ~40-45s with currant, cherry, and earth, Constantly evolving in the glass, and was still very, very tight, even with substantial air. Give this plenty of cellar time. 94 points (08/07/2004). | | |

Snakes- Carpet python in Aussie, some sort of Python in Thailand Water Buffalo- In Thailand and Malaysia Water Rats- Thailand, they were yummy Cat and dog in China - - didn't know until I was told later....poor little critters Kangaroo- Yummy Ostrich and Emu- differant from each other but nice and very low fat (I've eaten it in the past but due to diet constrictions lately this has been one of my stable meats recently.) Ants and Grasshopers in Thailand and Malaysia- both fried Fresh water eel smoked -very enjoyable Deer - wild and farmed Sea Slug- yuck Crocodile- tasted fishy, but quite nice..somewhat tougher than I expected though Goat- Goat curry very lummy! And roasted (a bit tough for my liking.) And other stuff to.

| Futronic:
The '99 Banfi Brunello is going for north of $65 here, particularly since the stellar rating it received from the WS.
We need to arrange a meeting if you can get it for $55!

At $65USD, that's a ripoff. At $65CAD, it could be worse. If you want me to pick some up for you, it's $42USD a bottle. Sorry for the marginal error.
Send me a PM and I can hold onto it until we meet up again.

| I had the 1997 last year and it was a huge disappointment, totally closed down. I'd give it another 4/5 years yet to let it develop, and hope it gets there. The one I had was very disappointing! | | | |
