2000 Corvo IGT (Casa Fondata) (red wine)
Mrs TJ. and I shared this several weeks back at Bel Paese in York, PA with dinner with Mrs. TJ-momma. Great little Italian (formerly BYOW

) place.
I saw this on their interesting but small list and decided I wanted to try a Sicilian wine given Jones and other VCer's comments. I have no idea if this is a quality producer or not. I thought it was pretty good. A lighter styled wine with a bit of spice. It's right up Mrs. TJ's alley and I thought it was pretty tasty and it went well with food as well.
My limited TN descriptors I tapped away are -- Resiny, furniture polish, cognac-y, kinda spicy, lighter than expected, nice finish. Good acidity allowed it to pair very well with food. De-lish.
Worth 86+ TJ points.
