| One of my favourite producers from Alsace. Had this wine before I started to dine on Indian food, to set the palate up for the evening.
Colour: Gold Nose: strong spiuced floral characters with peach, hints of confectionary. Palate: Lush and oilly but very dry, length is great with the spiced notes being evident until the flavour wafts away leaving a nice texture in the mouth, which disperse to leave a drying finish. Overall: A an excellent wine for the dollars (Gewurzt is very pricey in NZ) 89 on the Jeremy Scale, a A- on the QPR scale. This wine cost $35 NZD. | | | |
