2001 Albrecht Bollenberg Gewurtztraminer (80- WIML)
Alsace, France

13% alcohol by volume. Purchased locally at Sigels for $17.99 a bottle. Opened and served without decanting in Spiegelau WeissWein glasses. Clear light to medium yellow color. Floral nose of orange blossoms, rose petals and potpourri. Flavors of orange, kiwi, lychee with some mild honey. Just a small bite of spiciness on the finish. Started off as a decent quaffer but that didn’t hold. I would have given it 85- WIML points the first hour but it dropped off real fast after that. I wouldn’t give it 80- WIML points at an hour and a half. Drink yesterday.
Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.

i had this a week ago or so. Really liked it from what I remember. Didn't last long enough for it to drop off. I'd give it an 87 or so.
