1997 Egly-Ouriet – This wine was disgorged on May of 2003 after 58 months on the lees, 10 months more than the original release of this wine.

Great nose, rich and toasty with fine persistent small bubbles. On the palate the wine showed complex flavors of light caramel, toffee and pain grille. Finished with pear and bright acids. A beautiful glass of Champs.
