2000 Mas Daumas Gassac – Very focused fruit on the nose. Ripe, slightly sweet, with a bit of oak. On the palate the fruit is substantial with good depth and moderate grip. Finishes smoky with just a hint of Cider.

The back label makes an interesting claim, calling the wine a “Traditional Grand Cru”?
