i had this wine with a grilled ribeye tonight & it complemented the steak very well. it drank quite nicely immediately upon opening, with a wonderful nose of red cherries & plums that came through on the palate as well. there was a hint of earthiness in there also. a solid 91 points & another qpr champion from the languedoc. i think i paid less than $15 for this bottle & i still have 3 left .

gus, is there a vintage associated with this wine? If so could you edit the title. For search reasons... Sounds like a winner. Thanks.

I tried this a few months ago and was giddy at the quality to price ratio for it. I knew I shoulda jumped on a few more bottles, but a few days ago I went to pick up a few more and they only had 1 left... oh well.

They retail for $19.

They love this producer at Kermit Lynch and sell it by the boatload. I've bought a few and have been underwhelmed, however, I must say that everytime I've tasted it, it's been with various fruit forward Ca. Cabs., which are a totally different style than this wine.
