The nose had even richer and deeper tones of poached fruits, freshly baked croissants, smoky butter and a touch of cocoa. The flavors are just as beguiling with more notes of mocha and even more earthiness on the long finish. This bottle was ready and willing to please, fully mature and complex. This is a great year for Bollinger.
