From a 2 night anniversary party last month.

Made from 100% Chardonnay, it had a nose of intense chalky mineral with tons of citrus and roasted nutmeg and a touch of beeswax honey, nice complexity but without the richness of the Pinot Noir fruit. The palate was decidedly minerally with a terrific acidity that completely cleanses the palate. The flavors of toasted apples and bread give it some amplitude, but the wine is definitely of the more streamlined ilk. A very nice start and aperitif but it seems to be just about at its peak. The fruit has reached its plateau and I think there no need for more cellaring, bright and cleansing.
