Alsace Producer.

Cheaper (around $12-$15 USD a bottle.)

I bought a few cases for the shop, so running a tasting in store with Salmon pate and costini.

Tasted in ISO at Room temperature.

Colour:Quite yellow golden
Nose: Initial typical floral notes, with some lychee , soft buttery smoke and a hint of peach melba.
Palate: Good oilly palate, but palate dominated by higher alcohol, creating a bitter finishing note. Acids are a little subdued and an oaken smokiy character intergrates with the alcohol bitterness.
Overall: If you drink this chilled it wouldn't be too bad, The texture was quite pleasant and viscous, but little fruit transfered to the palate. Not unpleasant just not wonderful. 83 points.
