13.5% alcohol. Opened and served immediately. Dark yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. nose of parafin, pear, lychee apricot and brown spices. Flavors of peach, pear, sweet apple, apricot, lychee and a light dash of honey on the short to medium finish. Medium acidity and body. Alcohol comes across a little high on the nose and palate but given that this is a NV wine and the unexpected dark color I'm betting it was either sitting on the retailer shelf in less than idea conditions for quite some time or was slightly cooked in route. Therefore no rating. NR (flawed)
