N.V. Pierre Peters Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut Cuvée de Réserve - France, Champagne, Le Mesnil Sur Oger, Champagne (6/21/2008) WIML90 Tasted June 21, 2008. Lot L.012007. 12% alcohol. Opened and served immediately. Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout with solid beading. Nose of toast, candied apples, ginger with some citrus notes. Flavors of tangy apples, cherries, peaches and apricot core (i.e. hint of earthiness on the finish). Bright acidity, medium to full body. Drink over the short to medium term. Nice grower Champagne from one of my favorite areas. (90 pts.)

$30, Retail You gotta be kiddin' me, wineismylife. Great minds think alike, I guess, as they say. :-) Damn, what a coincidence, isn't this unbelievable. I had a bottle of this today also. :-) Tanzer 90 points, wineismylife 90 points, & I will match their points also. A fine bottle of bubbles.
