Colour: Straw
Nose: soft vanilla smokiness with light floral and lime characters. Peach also comes through but for the most part the nose of this wine is very subdued.
Palate: Light tropical fruits dominate initially, but acids bring forward a powerful structure, bringing length and a well developed finish that fill the mouth.
Overall: Bloody good, but somewhat of a paradox wine. Intial flavours and aromas mislead the taster into looking for a delicately structured wine only to be blown away by the acids. 89 points
