Colour: Pale with green tinges
Nose: confectionary nose, strong phenols (very ripe), hints of stonefruit backed up by flintines and long length of aroma.
Palate: Initial sweerter notes intergrate with acids, a slight bitter note dominates the back palate -suggesting alcohol dominacne over aromatices. Very warm wine. Excellent length with lingering flavours of peach and apricot.
Overall: A very enjoyable wine- 90 points.Drinking window 2002-2003
