This was one of the wines I took with me to the DC Crü dinner at Brasserie Beck a couple of nights ago. (I had promised my baby sister I'd bring it if she joined us for dinner.)

Very fresh and crisp with a toasty, nutty, minerality that was wonderful. Starting to turn a golden hue, it held up well and had a wonderful head as being poured. Wonderful from the first to last drop. A wonderful Champagne. 94 pts.
